wow! are they really that nice? well, thanks convict_breeder, Dovii dude and bigspizz !! i feed them anything i can offer man. nothing special from small pellets, to medium ones, to bloodworms and even fish eggs.

I had an old pink con male like that years ago. He was amazing to watch with his double streamers on his dorsal fin. He was a really great daddy and would usually shoo the female off for good after the fry were free swimming.
No idea how old he is, but here's my pride and joy male con (and his missus and kids). He's around the 4" mark (not inc tail).
i have Polomax24's breeding pair of Wild caught costa rican's he grew out. the male is about 6 inches. he had a few more that were in the 7-8 inch range. Now those were the biggest I have ever seen with my own eyes. He should have pictures.
the last few picks are in a 240 he was close to 6 inches. But i lost him when he kept trying to mate with a jag who had a mate already he was gone for a couple of days which hed do from time to time. The one day he just showed up and had the crap beat out of him put him in a hospital tank but he didnt make it. I wish i had a pick of the shine on his fins.
I havwe no idea how old he was since my girls brother in law gave him to me at a little under 5 inches then i had him for 2 years after that
