A buddy I knew had a pretty nice 'unique' combo a few years back ago... a 2.5ft. Redline Snakehead and 11-12" Alligator Snapping Turtle.
AST was too big & bulky for the Redline to eat and mess with, and the Redline was too large for the AST to even bother. Pure 'Predator' Tank!
Looked pretty amazing seeing the two cohabit together... Floating piece of driftwood where the AST floated/perched on in one corner of the tank, and in the other corner, floating plants where the Redline mainly stayed on. I liked it... it was a combo rarely seen!
I have them same pics in my fish folder on my comp! i got them years ago from a site i used to belong to called PredatoryFish.net that site was before MonsterFishKeepers! Ive been searching these forums since MonsterFishkeepers started BUT only just registerd not long ago.
