I got to see him too in May.

dam that is one old fish...and they don't even know his real age he could be older than 75 :O

The one at Stienheart Aquarium,S.F.Calif.,they received it in 1939 ! Before I bought my
5 Aussie lungfish I asked my daughter if she would take care of them when I pass on. I know they will outlive me and I want to make sure they are taken care of. I took me 45 years to get them and they are more awesome than I ever dreamed of !

it says that when they got him in 1933 he was already an adult.

that fish could potentially be close to, if not over 100 years old.

hell with asking your kids, you better make sure your GRANDKIDS are willing to take care of a lung before you buy one

I think the last part of the story about the scholarships is way cooler than his actual age, hard to believe what a fish can accomplish!
