Yeah, he sent me that list yesterday! Stop posting it up!! How are we supposed to get any pikes if you keep broadcasting it?! HAHA! jk, was gonna post it but didn't have a chance. He also has Caquetaia kraussi right now...;). The lents. are very tempting....;)

how long does his pikes usually stay in stock or how often does he get them in

It depends on the species. Some pikes stay A LONG time, while others, like x3 sell pretty dang fast. Its all about being able to get them imported in time. Him being in Canada makes things rather complicated.

woke up, saw it and figured I'd post it...

figured either I'd start some kind of non-profit breeding group or start letting people know who has what so maybe someone will start breeding to bring prices down and help availability.

Also dont see why people make things seem so special. Like when people were trying to find Pbass Azuls. I said I knew where to get em and got bombed with "yeah right, from who" and "Prove it" :screwy:.

Forgot to add too that:
Aquascape has Lents for $75
River Wonders has Marms for $110
East Coast Zoological might still have Cinctas too 3-4"-$20, 8"-$100, 13"+-$135

looking into a few other places, havent heard back yet...

Yes, he still has them...but he only ships airport to airport. John is a great source for pikes, but there are still a few better than him....;)

I got three cincta from John yesterday. Awsome litte fellas. Do you guys know what kind they are. He says they're from Peru, therefore green tigers. But also looks kinda like blue from Brazil to me. I like them either way, but can someone confirm the type? Thanks.

Pictures help oodles. Pretty sure the ones that he has are the green ones. You don't see the blues very often any more. Some reason the reds, and the greens are more common. I would LOVE to have a pair of the blue variant!

The Atabapo lents are the same thing that Rapps was selling a couple weeks ago as red lents. They exhibit an orangish/red oceli around their humeral spot.

Negro lents are very simialr to Atabapo lents but have a greenish yellow cast to their bodies with the humeral oceli being more golden.

Then there are the VZ lents that have a plain humeral spot with no oceli. They typically have the most colorful finnage.

What kinds are these? Ok, Blue is from Brazil and Green from Peru, where is Red from? Thanks. Of all three, what is the order of rarity?
