Omega one is a good brand. Good quality food. It's nothing new.

+1... Taking the question of which food is "the best" and whether brand X is better than brand Z out of the conversation, and taking away theorizing, speculation, opinion, inference or anything else beyond actual results-- and I've done years of pretty extensive food testing, often long term and side by side tanks, multiple generations of fish, etc. etc., all with some often debated foods and with very good results from certain Omega products (some of their products are better than others imo), very good to reasonably good results from a couple of other products, and ok to inferior results from some others.

That's as far as I'm going to go on the subject in this particular context.

^ Agreed. Omega One good, fish food threads bad! ;)

thanks for the in put wasn't trying to start a fight about fish food lol was just looking for insight on this product as I was thinking of adding it to my fish diets as I may be crazy but I mix my pellets get what is assumed best foods mix them in a big tub and feed from this figure this way they don't have to eat same thing everyday they can pick what they want that day I know if I was a fish iwould get bored eating the same thing everyday

+1 I do the exact same thing + throw some frozen, live and terrestrial veggies here and there.

Plants My black belt loves my wifes house plants I think it would eat them over anything else sometimes she has tried using the tank to make new plants or whatever she doin and come back later and Black belt eat all the leaves it could reach is funny **** hates it

I don't think fish get tired of eating the same thing every day (I have no way of knowing) but having said that, there are many members who do exactly as you. I use Omega One Super veggie pellets & Veggie Rounds. Omega One Marine Pellets also have a higher inclusion rate of garlic which I've also used (for fresh water fish) with good results. The only way feeding the same thing every day would be harmful is if the food being feed fed didn't containe all the necessary nutriants. The higher quality pellets like Omega One is a fully balanced diet formulated to meet the daily needs of the fish. The addition of other foods while they may not be strictly necessary is I beleave physiologically beneficial to fish.

I love the Super Kelp Flake,,
I also have old supercolour flake i try not to use, it make the filter turn red.
NLS
NF
Extreme
Repashy
dainichi.
Any of the above are fine foods
Should cover the rest of the flaming about to start

Of the Omega One foods I like to use the Veggie Rounds and the Super Kelp floating pellets. I do wish they made the kelp pellet in a 4-5mm size since my pearsei and red hooks pretty much ignore the 2mm stuff. I did email them my suggestion and they did respond! So if anyone else would like to see something different offered it would be good to let them know. Have to say I like the new layout on their website compared to the old.
