Are they a good food for my cichlids? I ran out of NLS and I have heard Omega One is also a good food. I am just trying them out for now and my cichlids seem to love it. The ingredients are also amazing as well. What can you tell me about this food?

All that I had in Omega One was brine shrimp, and my fish wouldn't touch it.

I think all the New Life Spectrum has spoiled them.

I don't know much else about Omega one, but I do know that NLS is good for your fish,
and your tank because most of what goes in
gets used by your fish so there isn't as much waste as other foods.
Thus helping lower the bio-load on your aquarium.

Omega one is actually a good food...It of course all comes down to personal preference.

for african cichlids try hikari cichlid excel and mirco wafers!

I agree. Most africans need the vegetable matter. Omega one is a good food in IMO, but african cichlids don't need all the meat ingredients found in Omega one. Remember most african cichlids feed on algae in the wild.

I always used to use the omega one sinking algea wafers they loved them then I switched to pellets which they loved as well, but nothing beats the NLS for african cihlids IMO but I know u know that and I think the omega one is fine as a supplement if you are out of the former...

you cant go wrong with Omega One,my cichlids go crazy for it....i think its the best fish food out-there...
