OMG!!- Blood Clots in Tank

Came home and found a couple pin size bright red blood clots in my tank. I have never in all my fish owning years seen this.

Now to just find out who(Bicher, Angels or Mollies) and which end it came out of..???

I'm guessing maybe a shrimp or silverside went through one of the Bichers the wrong way?

I have sand not gravel in my tank, (so it couldn't be gravel swallowed) nor do I have any sharp corners on the decor. And there are no open wounds on anyone....
 
umm is it just kinda long and puffy looking???? If so I think I can tell you which end it came from :) I think you are seeing the results of a big meal from a growing Bichir....
 
Oh thank god. That would be nice if that were all it were. It that's the case, then I would think that it would either be the remains from frozen silverside or from live ghost shrimp eaten by my newest bichir, Sven, who is 6 inches.

Yeah is was most definitely "poop-like" looking. And when i took it out of the tank, it ran bright red blood in the net.
 
I'm betting Tezr is right and it's just a turd.
 
i never seen blood clots in a tank before eather...good luck bro.
 
don't think its blood if it was clotted blood i think it would be a darker color
