I think it's poop too.. My ornate does tt sometimes, it can be up to 1 inch long haha..

I agree with you all now. It was mostly bloody mucus-y poop. Fed all fish well today, and haven't found any for hours now... *crosses fingers*

Do you feed shrimp? Poop's usually a little more uh 'liquidy' when I feed shrimp.

Yeah ghost shrimp three days ago. They are all gone now...lol.

My guess is it's not a blood clot. They don't have alot of blood to begin with. So for one to loose an amount of blood that is detectable by you would be a catastrophic amount to the fish. Just my opinion. Prolly just poop.

Oh for sure it was poop and there WAS blood. I swear. Ran red in the net when I ran water over it. But was also all mucusy.
