He seems a healty and owesame boy. Would love to have one. That in its front legs aint fat,its the big leg muscels. He seems sligtly overweigth but nothing unusual. Remenbar that by this age he should get food only every other day. Dont abuse meats and give him some greens to nible on. Remenbar that in the wild they eat seeds, water plants and lots of bugs. Its not all big game hunting for this guys Its that its aquarium? If I were you I would take that plastic shell out of there. Snapping turts have very powerfull jaws and like to investigate unusual things like any turt. Your turt is more than capable to take that thing apart and to swallow a peace of it. One of our menber´s snapping turt once swalloed a peace of plastic filter tubing and it had to be cirurgicaly removed Make shure to fix that

Yes we did for my snapper with the same kind of spot lol. It wasn't in a seperate thread it was in my found a snapper at work thread.
