If there just planaria don't add coppersafe or any thing to your tank its not needed at all just do a water change and feed a little less they won't harm your fish ( as long as your just talking about planaria ) most of the time they will stay in your substrate out of site but tend to show up alot more often in bare bottom tanks
 
As mentioned just water changes and feed alittle less and you'll see that they will just disapear in time... they really are not harmful and most people have them in their tanks they just don't notice them because you really need to be looking to notice them
 
I think copper and cats is a bad mix "aren't I right here guys no scales to protect the cats or is that just the wifes tail " water changes and maybe JUNGLE parisite clear
 
I agree with basslover. Planaria can be hard to get rid of in aquaria. Especially in heavily fed tanks. I've tried coppersafe some years ago when I first saw them in my tanks, and it didn't even kill them. I did throw a penny in the filter and that did the trick, but when I think back I wonder if it was worth possibly poisoning my catfish. Besides they are harmless and more of an eyesore than anything.
