it was my first time finding something alive in my sump guess thats why i was so surprised. i just dont get how it passed threw the floss, ceramics,sponges, and bio balls
 
Had a 1" Orange compressicep jump my overflow and end up on the filter pad in my sump. Flopped around on it for almost 3 days and survived. Must've stayed moist enough!

I have some african cichlids and one day i was moving my tank to replace the stand and to my suprise after I drained the water I found a baby Ice Blue just flopping around about 1in in size and he was in between the tank and sump he was in the overflow I was supised then because with my africans its a dog eat dog world and I never have fry that make it other than taking them out well this one found a way to grow up a lil and ever since I put him back with the rest and hes doing great, Just when I thought I couldnt be suprised again yesterday I found a blue cobalt fry about 1/2 in in my sump I was like everyone else stunned how did he make it through all the filtration oh well he did so he deserves to grow up some before I put him back into the aquatic jungle with the rest so im goin to let him be a F.F. :newbie:
 
i found a cleaner wrasse in my oveflow box the other day.
and i have found feeders in my fx5
 
Found tons of crap in my sump's filter sock
