I guess the dude was thankful. :D i wish my snakehead would jump out like that and i will save it so that it'll let me pet him like a pup. :P

that happened to my friends aro. it jumped out and went splat on the floor. he panicked and dove for it but unfortunately he had a dog. his dog beat him to the fish, carried it in his mouth and ran out the pet door. it was a hound so he was chasing it around for a whole 10 minutes. when he finally caught his dog, the fish was already dead (of course). he got so pissed off so he gave me his dog. ever since that day, he still keeps his chewed up aro in his freezer.

Great story, thanks for sharing. Becareful petting aros, they're finger chaser. My aros have gotten my fingers too many times. Now I actually keep any eye on him when feeding.

my husband and i saw an 15" jadini arowana for sale an hour away from us. so i call the guy and drove for an hour to pick it up. and when we got to the house the owner have a 2" nest trying to catch this aro for 5 mins i was like no away... well the aro decided to do it himself he jump out of the 4' tall tank on to the grown and give me a quick bath and hope around a bit until he jump right into the bucket i brough with me to bring him home. "the sad part is that i pay for the aro before all this happen or else i would be like 50% i will take him since he is damage now""" well rite before we left his house the owner tell me "take care of him well" i was like dude u dont even give a rat about him. did i mention he was in a 30 gal tank. n now he is all by himself in 125g. i guess i give him a good home..
