i dont no.. maybe once I get there and talk to the guy a little bit Ill see what I plan to do. Im going to do what my parents did though and take pictures of everything. they took pics of the dudes truck and his house it was at that he was selling they took tons of pics if something went wrong. so thats what Ill do. however if I do decide to do this. Ill offer him $50 reason being the reasons that you guys just gave me. Im shaking lol. Im nervouse :/
 
hahaha, just don't smoke a whole pack of cigarettes over this.

personally i'd go check out the tank, make sure i want it and exchange money on the day i intend to pick it up.
 
thats what I planned on doing lol. I could of picked it up thursday night but hes busy after 5.. and thats when my dad gets off work. if I had a truck trust me I would pick it up. however I wonder if my friends dad that lives up the road would let me take his truck?? Ill have to call him and ask!
 
I'm going to shell out the $300 and just get everything live rock cant be used in freshwater obviously right? and what the hell should I do with till I can sell it? since I cant set the tank up when I get home

The live rock is going to be useless for saltwater purposes if it's not kept in saltwater and at the appropriate temperature, so either give/sell/trade it to a friend/LFS or just let it die off, clean the heck out of it, and use it for freshwater because it'll be just like any other rock then. I personally would go with the former rather than the latter because live rock is pretty expensive stuff; it's usually $5.00/lbs. or more.
