Speaking from experience. REALLY, REALLY do a thorough research on parts availability and parts crossing BEFORE buying an old rare import like this. I bought a classic 30 years ago and found that most of the parts I needed could only be found in S. Africa (England's parts shops no longer supported my '49 Triumph 2000). Every part had cost additions of export tariffs, customs fees, overseas shipping, import tariffs, and US customs fees. The last part I bought was a windshield that cost $150. By the time it was delivered to me, it cost me nearly $1000.00

Wow...thanks for the heads up. I'm 99.9% sure I'm not going to buy something like this now, as I am saving for a house, but I know I will be picking up a oddball car to play with in the near future.

....and if you read up on Rovers they were originally designed off of Jeeps. :headbang2
