OMG my bass laid eggs!!!!!

Hey everyone, I'm sooooo excited!!!! I came home today and found TONS of eggs on these 2 big rocks I placed in the tank about a week ago.

I have a couple of questions:

1. I'm not sure if I have 2 females, or a male and a female...this maybe a stupid question, but, is it possibe to have 2 females in the tank, and one lays eggs?

2. The eggs have a yellowish-mustardy color...are they supposed to be this color...I thought white...

3. What should I do about the eggs... I've gotten mixed feeling through the threads I read, either leave them in, or take them out?

Please look at this previous thread and give me your thoughts...right now, the smaller bass is hovering over the nest more so then the larger one-does this mean the smaller one is the female? I'm confused!!!

i did notice today that the number of eggs dwindled a bit since last night...from what I've read, the first spawn is highly unsuccessful correct?

thanks troutking...they r in a 150, the larger one is about 17in, and the smaller one is about 13in-then by what your saying, the smaller one is the male (thats bass#1 in my previous thread) and he's guarding the nest like crazy not really allowing the larger bass to come near the nest that often-is this ok?

gonna re-read those threads about spawning, but do you guys think i should i take the eggs out, or leave them?

So I looked at the rock today and the eggs are pretty much gone ... I had a feeling the first time would not be successful :(

I did notice there was what appeared to be a fungus growing on the eggs...what do you guys think I should put in the water? I've been reading in previous threads about methylene blue-but no one carries this by me-
should I get the fungus treatment made by mardel labs? It says for fish eggs on it-will this be ok for next time? I just wanna be prepared :)

boosten audi-I can do better, i have a video of them a week before the spawn. I'll put it up tonight after work so stay tuned

So do you guys think I should remove the eggs the next spawn?

No PimaFix. Read through Tounge's threads and pick up as much information as you can. first spawns are very unsucessful so don't expect much. If there already getting fungus on them there already gone you can't save them. If i were you i would start reading because Cichla breed pretty regularly after the first try so you may see another attempt very soon. Good LUCK! You going to need it.
