  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A pair or a trio of pacu can live for a long time in a 450. They are social and do a LOT better when housed with more than one.

Wait how did you suddenly get a 125, and not have any sort of problems getting a 700 gallon pond?

Well I have a big backyard and i got a 10 gallon tank, and a 100 gallon tank and a 125 gallon tank already set up. So i am able to switch it around. I also have the room for a big pond so i might as well just get one.

... wow that is weird my mistake i guess... o well i already got the pond but no water running yet sooooo doesnt really mater.

Its just that a pacu requires a large tank. Pet shops shouldnt really even sell pacus. You have choosen the one fish in that whole store that will require a huge tank. If your into giving your pet the best possible life it will need a large tank or pond in the long run. And a healthy diet.

well i am sooooooo i am giving him a diet of pellets, bloodworms, crickets, some grapes he likes to eat and ya. Pond almost done! turns out i made it 725 :D doesn't really make a difference tho
