Thanks, trying to.. She is being weird again... Much better then a few days ago.

Congrats!

She tricked me... lol... She is hiding again.. When I posted she was actually out and being normal..

I had a gold varient Rhom (could of been a brandtii) that I didn't see for almost a year. Literally. It was like having an empty tank. This was about 12 years ago give or take. If I wanted to see the fish I'd have to have all the lights out in the room and actually HIDE under my bed covers! If that fish saw me, it was gone.
All of a sudden, one day I was playing a video game and looked up and he was right out in the open as close as he could get to me, checking me out. Sat there for a few seconds staring at each other and he jolted out of there back to his safe spot. I was floored by that.
Within the next couple of weeks (could of been days) his courage dramatically increased with every day.
Soon, he was in your face the second you walked into the room.

Thats awesome, thanks.. I think my spilo is slowly building courage... She will come out of hiding for about 7 seconds and swim towards the bottom, then go back... Its a progress though.

I dont know how to feed her when she is hiding... Like if i drop in some shrimp or whatever, she wont even see it... How am I suppose to get her to eat?

I just want her to eat! :(

Easy.
Don't feed your piranha.

Don't offer any kind of food for about two weeks. Put some food in the tank (what ever it is...shrimp, white fish fillet, squid) and remove it after a few hours.
Keep offering the food for a few days to a week. If your piranha still doesn't accept it then, don't offer food for another week or two. Repeat the whole process.

Longest I've heard of a piranha not eating was almost 5 months before starvation began taking its toll.
So to think a few weeks without food is terrible is actually nothing to these fish.

He'll come around eventually. But its absolutely nothing to worry about if he's being stubborn the first few weeks. If I remember correctly you haven't owned it longer then a week so it will eat when its really ready.

Piranhas have a very acute sense of smell. The second that food hits the water, they know its there. If they want it, they take it.
