was chillen looken at my fish to see this wormthing swim bye, my water is all good and fish fat and healty and they eat every other day. what is this thing, its worrieing my and kinda freaken me out, is this thing bad, i only saw one at a time so dont know if there is more than 1

don't worry. those are planaria from uneaten food. Just feed less and remove uneaten food. They don't harm fish at all, and sometimes smaller fish eat them.

ok cool thanks, ya i was gonnen thro old pics bc i swear i see it b4 when i use to have my tanks and thats what people said it was, thank good, i kinda jumped da gun and posted lol, freaked out lol. im sure all you monster fish keepers know what im talken about, lol my fish are my babys:headbang2

This is not a planaria, the shape and motion are wrong for them, instead it is either a white worm or grindal, a harmless detritus feeder that is actually great food for very small fish. They often form colonies in filter media and don't hurt a thing.

I just discovered some in my tank... yet I never put any feeder fish... could they have arrived with the cherry shrimps? :eek:
