Omg wich filter to buy!

About to buy a new filter for my 6 footer and not sure wich to go with. A fx5 or eheim. Fx5 seems to be the better filter but some people seem to be emotional about micro bubbles they can cause.

I do plan on upgrading to a 8 foot tank in the future so the filter needs to be a workhorse. And this filter is for more mechanical filteration than bio.

Any advice and pro's vs cons would be much appreciated. THX

Just dont' use the polishing pads and there will be no bubbles.

Or I could get 3 aqua clear 110's. But I do have 2 of them already on the tank.

I just want to make sure I get the best filteration for the money. I would love to do a sump but I dont feel I have the DiY skills.

Hah I would love to buy both but I have a better chance of getting my wife to do a 3 way than buying 2 filters.

Add me to the FX5 bucket, and do this mod on it :

http://www.aquariumsupplies.co.za/im...SP1407-010.jpg - This in a 1" variety fit perfectly inside the existing tubing, and increased the current and flow in my tank by at LEAST double. I do not run the output in the center of my tank, and the dual valve setup was creating crosscurrent in my tank. Now I have a beautiful circular current, and the fix cost me $0.98
