Did you even read any of those papers found in that previous link, performed by those who have spent years studying these fish in the wild? If you feel that you know more than they do on the subject, think again.
The recent research in this area simply confirms what many of us have been saying for years, that being one cannot simply look at an amphilophus & determine whether it is a pure labiatus, a pure citrinellus, or a hybrid mix of the two.
