One 125gal vs. two 55gal? Need opinions!

Hmmmm.....if you've got the end to end space for 2 55's next to each other then that means you've got end to end space for 2 125 Talls-which are 4' x 2' x2' tall. So I'd get 2 125 Talls :-) Then build the 2 stands yourself and make room underneath for 2 90 gal tanks. Yep. That's what I'd do if I had 8' of space left.

Yea, I thought of that but if you put the 90's underneath they'd be awful tall to try to do maintence lol The OP is probably already wishing he hadn't asked :) I don't think anyone yet as said to 'go smaller'.
 
go for 125 gallons and if you want a split the 125 into two 62.5 gallon tanks
 
I would agree!!! Buy the 125 now because you will regret it later and will upgrade sooner than you think. It will cost more now...but long run it will be cheaper, you wont have to buy another tank!!
