i love your stock who rules the tank? who are the top 3

Thank you. The Festae is def boss... none of the others even attempt to challenge him. Next is the Freddy and Red Isletas, but it's not so clear cut though.

Great set up! How big is that tank?

Thanks. The tank is 265g and 7' long. The fish are between 3" (Trimac's) and about 8" (Freddy, Festae, Red Isletas and Melanurus).

Wow, quite a group of glassbangers. Nice tank.

Thank you. All very aggr, but they all get along... except for the two small Trimacs... they hate each other.

Nice! How big is the carpintis? Looks like she's ready to pop.

The Carpintis is about 4.5" and just ate a bunch of pellets... I hope it does not pop!!!

Well, mine are not all adults yet either. Most of them grew up together, which I feel helped and I had some luck too. The tank is over crowded, which does not let the fish establish boundaries... also, more luck. This is an on going deal and I know they might not stay so peaceful, but I'm ok so far. I will have to thin the heard at some point though. I have had most of these guys in there together for about 7-8 months... I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed. I really like having a lot of fish in my tanks... if I only had say five or so, I would bet they would be fighting more often.

A few months ago I had two female RD's in with these guys and the Red Isletas was pairing up with one. The three of them and a female FH would all lip lock with each other, but I got rid of the three ladies and the tank has been fine ever since.

Wow! That tank is amazing! All the fish are wonderful! How do they get on together?

Thank you,

They all get along good so far. The Dovii (4"), Bocourti(4"), Carpintis Escondido (4.5"), Trimac X 2 (each 3") and white Red Devil (5.5") are all new to the tank. I got them around New Years Day, however the Bocourti & Dovii didn't go in until two weeks after I got them and the Trimacs about a week ago. I will only keep one of the Trimacs though. I also have another male Carpintis in the tank, but I did not take a photo of him since he is coming out soon and will be replaced by a Grammode. Aside from those I mentioned above the rest have been together for about 7-8 months... well, except the GT I got him like two months ago.

Ok, to answer your question more directly... they get along fine. Most of the aggr comes from the Fredrichsthalii, but he just chases fish away from him... he is always grumpy. I know a lot of people on here have had issues with aggr from their Argentea, but I have two in my tank and they are the most peaceful fish in my tank.
