Has any one heard of Frontosas having different amont of stripes on the opposite side of thier bodies? One of mine has six on one side but seven on the other! Would any one be able to id my Fronts if I posted a few pics?

That's happening alot with burundis. Usually due to mixing with Maswas or Bangwes. Once they hit F6+, the gene pool starts resembling a swamp. Check for buck teeth and an affinity towards banjo music.

If you "mix" Kigoma ( 7 stripes) with other Gibberosas (6 stripes) this would happen. May be in your case a time ago somebody mixed variants.

I'll ask my uncle sue who's married to his sisters, niece.

funny you ask that because I have the same type of frontosa. 7 stipes on one side and 6 on the other. I will get the pics up in a minute or 2
