davo- yup it sure is. thats my L333. They prefer a ph around 6.4-7.2 but I have successfully kept it in a ph 8.0 for over 13 months. My tap water is hard. It's colors are not as pronounced as they used to be. I also have a L264

That's happening alot with burundis. Usually due to mixing with Maswas or Bangwes. Once they hit F6+, the gene pool starts resembling a swamp. Check for buck teeth and an affinity towards banjo music.
