One greedy Delhezi

Tried to eat a whole smelt when the Mastacembelus dayi stole it!

The Del measured about 20cm so you get how big the Dayi is...

Atleast it got some of the frozen fish. Hat delhezi has nice pattern by the way.

Yeah it did!
Seeing this you could think I'm not feeding them enough but that's not the case.
Even with full bellies they try to steal the pieces of smelt from the other fish.

The Dayi is growing pretty big.
I guess the largest one in captivity was about 2ft, right?

Not sure. I thought the biggest was under 20in in most home aquariums. I could be wrong could be a very old eel.

Under 20in?
Well mine is just about 2in away from the 20 and I'm just having him for 1 1/2 years now (in which he grew from 30cm/1 ft to this size).
