a few more for reference. So as you can see, whoever told you these where red dragon fry was pulling your leg and trying to take advantage of you. Was it super G by any chance??? Because I thouht he said he's sold over 1500 of his "red dragons" with no complaints.
Here is the pair bro. The actual mother and father of that fish. They are nice and all of my growouts came out sweet. That one defiantly has big potential in my eyes.

im by no means an expert, but beefheart in my opinion will not do anything for the fish, i have heard that beefheart is not a good source for fish, since it normally doesnt occur in the natural habitat, give it some time, it might turn out to be a great looking fish with a good diet and care, GL with him!
Tony, if you don't mind me asking how much you pay for these "red dragons"?? Even if the male IS a red dragon he a very low quality red dragon. Second, that female is just a regular low grade ZZ female. Breeding the 2 will not make "red dragon".

Whats the name of this petstore so it can be avoided? This is why so many people are turned off to this hobby. Some see these fish as pets others as dollar signs.
yep it is a shame that you got chased away by someone without any morals. I forget the name of his store, but there is another GREAT LFS in Livonia called FANTASTIC FINS. I have been there a few times, and dealt with them on a local forum. They are all great, and HONEST, and have some cool stock. Lots of nice plecos and he even had some pretty nice flowerhorn in there too a couple times. Your on mittenstate too tony, I would look through their LFS review forum and stay away from this guys store from now on. If you ever decide to get back into FH, and want some help getting some fish let me know bud. I'll see what I can do to help you out. If I get my ILC male to breed, I'll GIVE you some fry bro. I have some synspillum x kkp fry you can have right now if you want. Just let me know.
well hopefully word will get out about THE PET CONNECTION IN LIVONIA MICHIGAN!!! I know I will not buy any fish there EVER, and also everyone needs to know that FANTASTIC FINS is also in Livonia and is a great LFS from my experience. Great stock, good prices, and clean tanks. and biggest of all HONEST. I will make sure to put the word out on the local cichlid forum. You should do the same Tony.
