I have a few other tank mates as well. My other favorite is my african tiger scat. I've only had the goby for maybe 2 months. He's grown 2" in length and maybe 4-5" in girth lol

African tiger scats are uber rare in uk.
I ve never seen one in a shop or in an aquarium.
Would love to get some

I've got one as well but mine doesn't look as good as yours. Mine's all dark blue/gray.
He's grown incredibly fast and holy crap does he eat!

I think John bought them all up last time they were brought in. He has like 14 or 15. ( Hoarder). Would love to have a small shoal. Trying to find some nice spotted greens instead. Even they dont seem as abundate as they used to be

I have a jade in with my rays and agree the seem to go well together. I have been wondering if it is healthy for goby. Mine used to sit on bottom and with rays constantly cruising it seems to have to keep moving too. I figure he's happy cause he to is shaped like softball like yours

Scats are all brackish with the exception of African tiger scats which are fresh. Jade gobies can live in brackish or fresh.
