Our three have been alright, thank goodness. Capa can reached 2' in 2 years, fila can reached 18-24" in their first year. Filas maxed out around 4-5' or so in captive, 30" if the tank are insufficient. They can be mixed together but one of them will end up having bite marks & skin tears, non lethal but dirty water can cause infection so... its lethal

Thank you for the info from what ive gathered from you dont seem to much different then any other large pim ,im very much so very picky with water quality , so with any luck i can avoid infections from minor wounds
