Hi Lost, I'm Brian.
There is a Serrasalmus Sanchezi mixed with my Pygocentrus.

is it the blurry little one on the left that is mixed in with the blurry big ones?

I set up a new 125 and introduced them all at once. There has been absolutely zero problems in the month he's been in there. They all school together, there's no problems during feeding and no sign that there'll be any problem whatsoever.

These two species inhabit the very same territories in nature, are caught in the very same nets and some even believe they have a relationship where the Sanchezi picks off parasites on the Pygocentrus much like a Wrasse does in marine tanks and the ocean.

I've never kept or even studied much about Macs so I wouldn't advise a cohab between the two until I did. The other factor is I work from home and can more less constantly monitor my fish for any signs of trouble. I'd never do this and have to leave for work for 8-12 hours everyday.

that won't end well. I wouldn't keep that guy in there for much longer.

Just out of personal curiosity....Have you actually tried a Nattereri/Sanchezi cohabitation?
