don't trust it polys have a nack for avoiding the mouth of a bigger fish but they can most certaily fall victom to predation

My clownknife ignores guppies like they are not worth his time. I once had a huge school of guppies (more than 50) in my 300 gallon...until I put the oscar and bluegill in... that ended very quickly.

Maybe the catfish has the same mentality, until the bichir gets big enough for the catfish to notice; at least guppies stay small.
