umm mayspnd dumb but are the clown loaches in lfs's wild caught ?

ok, I have sources for a lot of things: tanks at cost, car parts, green coffee beans/roasting equipment, and haribo gummy bears (my favorite I have to say), but a source for cyprinid gonadotropin? I need to start hanging out with some new people.

If it was cheating we wouldn't have half the fish in the lfs we do now, but I do agree.

I can't find any actual statistics. I know there are Asian farms using this method for breeding, but I don't know the extent. I would guess it is still a small portion of the overall total. Borneo and Sumatra are the exporting countries, and they have laws to protect the breeding population of wild fish.

That has never been confirmed, no pictures were ever taken of the fry. I don't know of any confirmed cases of successfully hatched fry that occurred naturally. Recently a person with very odd water parameters managed to get a spawn, but none of the eggs hatched.

there was someone else here in the UK who had an unsuccessful spawn, and I think there have been some on the continent too, and I'm sure others elsewhere. That one Li posted, the photos never emerged to my knowledge...
