It's easy to add pictures to your posts, here's how...

You need to have your pictures hosted somewhere before you can post them (Unless you are a supporting member where you can upload them directly to Dogweb). You can get your pictures hosted for free in sites like http://photobucket.com www.imagestation.com

---------------Photobucket.com-------------------

If you are using photobucket.com to host your pictures... follow this step by step: (skip this bit if your pictures are hosted elsewhere)

Go to www.photobucket.com and sign up an account.

UPLOADING PICTURES

> Where it says 'Add Picture' click on 'Choose'
> a new box opens where u can view your PCs hard drive, find the picture you want to upload and click on 'open'
> click on 'Submit'
Presto - your pic is uploaded! (see 'resizing' below before posting)

POSTING

Under each picture you will find three boxes Url, Tag and Img. We need the code in the IMG box, so simply copy that and place it into your post here on www.monsterfishkeepers.com...Presto!

---------end of step by step------------------

Remember that you picture must not get deleted from your host account as if it does, it will no longer display in www.monsterfishkeepers.com.

-------------------www.imagestation.com----------------------

Please note that the url for the image must end in an image format such as '.jpg' otherwise it will not display (so Image hosting websites such as shutterfly and MSN won't work).

Once you have the picture you want to include in your post (after you have it hosted somewhere that is), right click on it to find it's path - this is how it's done in IE:

Right click on the image you want to include

> go to 'properties'

> find where it says 'Address URL'

> highlight the 'address'

> right click on it then click on copy (or simply press [Ctrl] and [c])

Now back in this forum, when you go to post the picture add this code:

Presto! It's that simple!

Its easier to host them here (IMO) and it will resize them for you, and there is unlimited space :grinyes:
thats another good way to host them though, thanks for sharing:)

Its in an unacceptable format

What format are you using?

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but everytime I go to upload pics to my album I get through the first part where I browse for pictures. Then the second screen comes up and I check the pictures I want to put in my album and I hit submit... and nothing. I always get "internet explorer cannot display the web page". Help! I am getting frustrated.

Try downloading and using Mozilla Firefox.
