well putting the hole any were about a 1/4" will work the whole idea is when the power turns of and the return starts sucking you water out the hole will let air in and stop the siphon
well puttin the hole anywhere about 1/4" under the water level wil work fine.. the whole idea is when the power turns off and the return starts draining the tank the hole will allow air to stop the siphon
