I just wanted to update. I just updated three threads because I think about how I find threads during searches where the OP never updated what ended up happening with the fish in question.
I don't know what caused that spot, whether it was something stuck on him or what, but it certainly wasn't ich as I don't see any white spots now (Friday). I figured as much as one of the responses said I'd see more spots by Monday before I left on the trip if it were ich.
