That would be neat but they didnt want to cooperate lol
Just tell them if they don't cooperate, you'll send them to me and I'll have them line up "JDM." I'll bet after they hear that, they'll line up "MFK," or " A IMPORTZ..." or whatever message you want them to

Totally mind boggling.. just awesome beautiful creatures.... and so many....

Yes, in my opinion is very important to know if they are locally bred or imported from Brazil. Knowing that is imported and still buying them i would say your are more to the side of contributing to the extinction than making any good to the species ... always be aware of that, that's what i call being a responsible fish keeper.

Ofc most will buy them, they are rare and beautiful and if you dont buy another will, but i think it is important to know why a specie disappears and people wonder what happened to them... and after that not even the richest fish keeper on the earth will bring them back with any amount of money, same money they used to contribute to their extinction.

It is important to remember that most fish keepers can't keep a fish for a few years, they are compulsive, they overcrowd their fish tank with fishes that end up dying because of poor water conditions or eating each other... or when the fish keeper gets tired and sell all fish to house different species...

The best place for fish in extinction is in their natural habitat, not in our tanks.

Before blaming the fish hobbyist industry, you need to look in your own back yard. The destruction of habitat, all the dam building and pollution from mining and other sources is a bigger issue than the aquatic industry.

Beautiful fish by the way A. IMPORTZ

Bull****! no excuse for contributing on the extinction of any species, including any specie illegaly traded by the fish hobbyist industry, your comment is a big crap... is the kind of comment that people that love nature would hate to read.. If im a fish hobbyst is because i like fish and i keep fish for years and with a lot of care, even not being the same as having the fish in the their natural habbitat.. what u just said is same as saying well, Orangotango are under extinction, but watever, lets still keep them, because there are more important things to worry about like the climate change..

The fishes in this Topic were locally bred so, no problem at all, not contributing to any sort of extinction. So no point of bringing this subject again..

+1 i agree if its imported and under extinction i wouldnt keep it.. and it has nothing to do with pollution.. thats just a different way to make an animal or fish extinct. empty jabs are everywhere and im sick of it.. i wish i could take a pic like that by the way lol <-- jealous

Never once did I say that I support Illegal exportation or illegally obtained.. I just stated that there is more contribution to the extinction of any species in Brazil and all of S. America than the fish hobby contributes. That there are other problems causing the disappearance of species. It just bothers me that people see someone with an endangered/quota'd or banned species (legal to own) that they automatically assume that it was illegally obtained.

Sorry for the derail A. IMPORTZ
