That salminus tank looks like a good place to lose a finger.

Interesting, I'm really impressed with your setup, you've never shown it before right?

I love dorados, and I passed them up the one time I saw them in the UK for a stupid wolf fish, I regret that big time.

Dorados are meant to be killing machines, and I've experienced how nasty jardinis are, i used to have one.

Who gets the upper hand in the fights you've seen?
Thanks! The jardini will take quite a bit from the bigger dorado before it goes berzerk. I'd still say the jardini has the upper hand/fin, although that will change once the dorado catches up in size. The jardini is over 20 inches, probably more like 22 inches, while the dorado is only 16 inches.

Thanks for the kind remarks, everyone! :)

I have a school of 2 dorados (Salminus brasiliensis) and 7 redtail brycon (Brycon sp., probably orbignyanus or rubricauda) in the 360. They range in size from 13 to 16 inches. The dorados are more streamlined, have a more muscular jaw, more lineated appearance on the sides, and are developing their adult yellowing of the fins. The brycons are fuller bodied, have a more silvery/plain appearance on the sides, and have redder fins. They are a bunch of bruisers. I can't feed my fish without getting splashed! :(

STUNNING!

Very nice bro, thanks for the reply! Keep up the awesome work
