sound advice man

Learned from you guys! ;D

Don't worry about the lights bro. I remember you saying that your shoal is slowly getting used to the tank and moving away from that one corner? Just keep up what your doing if there is no casualties. But like most of the guys said, keep temps low. It's has a positive relationship with aggression. I think it's a good idea to have the other non piranhas to take the beating. You should worry about this once they are all gone. You will never be able to throw in other fish after they get eaten up.

During the heat up in cali recently my water temp rose to 86F. Man were they nipping the crap out of each other. The cool down coming has dropped it to 78. Not sure if it's the food but now they just wiggle at each other and that's it.

Every tankmate that was originally in the tank before became a snack but this bad boy (Ballingoutofcontrol helped me with settling it in).

Sorry about the water stain, just did a water change and was too lazy to clean glass. This pleco used to a covert ninja like posing as an amazon sword leaf but now just wanders around because my shoal seems to accept him. Maybe time will tell but so far, it does well by stayin hiding by the dw about 90% of the time.

The catfish I had in the tank first became a nice snack:

Ok so, Still have had NO causualties ! I dumped in about 100 guppies yesterday there is maybe ten left (being on the high side). Also have a 1 inch convict as a "target fish" so if they wana kill something they will kill it.... BUT I still notice they get all hyped up and battle each other ! lol. Few have some good bites on the fines but nothing serious so far.

You put in a 100 guppies? Wow that is rolling the dice with your shoal, all it takes is 1 deseased feeder and you have 100..... Next time breed your own or quarintine for Atleast 1 month!

Pellets, fresh fish, smelt etc are all way better options.

Not to flame you, just trying to help.

One day that convict will be missing its lips. And then sooner or later it will be gone.

i know what LFS you get them from and if I were you, i'd still quarantine.
I got a bunch of feeders from this LFS a few months ago and dropped them in my peacock bass grow out because i'd be gone for 4 days..
everything was fine when i left and when i came back my whole tank was just a mess. all fish sick, etc.. so just because you think they are good, bad batches still happen...

you coem to london from ottowa often ? lol Yea I should take some precautions I guess... I just dont want to set up the 15 gallon haha... Call me lazy. It doesnt matter I have them eating shrimp now.
