/\/\onster guppy! recommendation?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Guppies work well for me, fresh water , couple times a day food and lots of area and hiding for fry and they produce like crazy. Some get large, but also at a point you might as well just feed multiple of smaller or work or feeding other foods.

Again, I've had good experience with breeding guppies and not so much with mollies.

Really looking for a large species of guppy that is aesthetically pleasing and prolific. They'll be breeding in the same tank as the predators, but there's copious hiding space.

Again, thanks, but those aren't guppies.

Endlers? If you do not plan on selling them you could do male endlers and female guppies, the fry will have color and shorter tails then male guppies. Or you could go with just endlers because endlers are very prolific and do not eat their babies.

Also what about white cloud mountain minnows? They breed like rabbits and don't eat their fry and are more stream line meaning they will last longer then guppies/endlers.

Or what about breeding endlers/white clouds/what ever in a seperate tank and adding juvies to the display tank?

I'm digging this as a suggestion. Endlers seem to do well too, they're just twice the price of fancies at my LFS.

Do you think endlers (being small) would be able to have their males breed with females of a very large guppy strain? (Like moscows or something)
