I just want to know if anyone knows the laws on keeping native fish like sun fish, perch and so on???

Panfish (sunfish, perch etc.) you can do whatever you want. Gamefish (bass, pike etc.) you can only have the legal limit (that you can catch in one day) in your tank and you need a valid fishing license.

ya but what if the fish is out of season???? so after Christmas when bass season closes, is my fish illegal??

Good point. Having bass in an aquarium out of season would be illegal. Unlikely they would catch you.

they're not going to raid your house. It would mean that they would need to spend money to raid your house, and it also means that they would have to put down their doughnuts and actually get up off their chairs

If they are legal to keep in season, I would say you have no worries out of season.

in the canadian legal system there is one department you just dont mess with and its the department of game and fishery, they can take your boat car and house if you fish without a license of take too much in one day if they want. they are like rangers in the us but with federal authority, that meen that they are nuts and they fing ways of entertaining them selves durring the off months and that includes raiding houses for fun cuz they can...

those ppl are nutz

ahahahah i'm a 20 year old university student with a perfectly clean record..... If he even tries to raid my house i'll have a surprise waiting for him... like a bat
