Thanks for the feeding tips Idealconcepts. It must be the right time of year for these guys, I've seen a few people on here that have picked them up recently. Thank you all for the kind words, and yes Jimv, I'll definetly keep everyone updated. But first I need to get him home first! Things have been really busy so I probably wont go pick him up til this weekend although it's killin' me to know I purchased that fish and it's 15min. away from my house and not in my tank!
 
Great find. They are a very cool cat. Miss mine and will have to get another someday.

Thanks man. got any old pics? I have never owned one before and I was wondering if I can expect the same pattern throughout it's growth or if the color and pattern changes. Most pics that I have seen are generally a darker pattern. Not saying that I've seen a lot of them. this fish is definitly a step up in the catfish world for me:D
 
So I just went to the lfs to pick up my Juruense and guess what, It was'nt there!!
So there supposed to order another but I'll believe it when I see it(in my tank!). I must say I'm pretty ticked off since I've been pretty loyal to these guys and have been for a couple years. Let alone the fact I paid in full last week and they were supposedly ok with holding it and no one knows what happened to it.

sorry to here about the inconvenience but i would be asking for a refund then another baby fishy half price as you had allready paid for it so really they sold your fish and that alone isnt right, its sounds like your local lfs has communication problems with their members of staff and that how it went missing without any1 knowing. I hope you get it sorted as he is a great find, good luck
 
The head guy that I deal with offered to refund my $$, But I told him as long as he made it right by the time he gets his next shipment in I'll wait. As stated before, I've done a lot of business with these guys and they in turn have been good to me back(until now) so I did try to keep cool even though I wanted to tweak out on this guy. Also we went to trade in some fish so you bet I got real good trade in price on everything. He gave me double what I paid for a Eupterus I owned for about 3 months.

I found him up in Angola at sea dwellers they said thieve had him for a while now paid $65 for him.
