I'm up in Cumbria, i've asked my local shop and they could only get me ornate's and senegals. Ornates cost £35 for a 3 incher!
 
Why dont you ring up your localish maidenhead and see if they will post them as im sure they all use the same suppliers also when i was looking for a tig our nearest maidenhead were happy to fetch a tig from reading branch if i wanted it,but obviously that may have been the money involved but they have fetched sand for me from another store which i wasnt prepared to drive to.

maidenhead can be hit or miss i find. also on the epensive side so im very happy for you to pick em at that price. i have about 5/6 maidenhead a's within hour and half from me (i have a need for speed lol!). the other thing i find is the prices are inconsistent for example. my friend purchased a diamond back sturgeon at 15" for £65 from one store yet they had the same ones maybe larger at a store 10 miles away for £45?????????? other than that i enjoy checking out the large tanks as you can pick up a bargain (often they are filled with fish that have grown to large for their previous owners :( )
 
Cheers wolfsburg,and i agree about MA being inconsistant as its the same between the two we go to,such as a Royal panaque about 6" long at rutland was 25 quid but at stapelton was like 45 quid,but i can definitely recommend the two we go to.
