ANd what the hekk....? With a title like that you have to start your thread off with a Britney pic ;)

Update: I lost two of the smaller one. Is common for kelberi to kill off smaller kels? I can't seem to get a break

It's common for Cichla to be aggressive to conspecifics, my group of kels were hard on each other, my azuls I thought were going to kill each other and my orinos were insane. The only thing that you can do is give them space and dithers and separate them if it gets to bad, or crowd them so there's barely any space to be aggressive.

Bad news mate! hope it don't put you off cichla and make you start keeping goldfish :)
i won't b keeping goldfish but might give growing out.

i had them in a 40g with loaches, dats, rainbows, n candy Pleco. I move the remaining 3 into a 40g by them self. Didn't realize size differences would cause them to kill.

Why did you move them? We're they getting too aggressive with the other fish? They needed dithers, growing out bass isn't easy bro, I'm going through it now trying to pellet train.

i have 3 bars symmetrical dats in there. I don't want to risk them killing it. I can move a few rainbows over as dithers.

My were already pellet trained when I got them them. I know I cheated! :-)

Lol, I doubt that you have to worry about the dats mine chase my Cichla around. I wish I could've cheated this is easily the most stubborn bass I've ever had.
