Got a blood parrot today. He's pretty big. About 5" long and just as deep and 1.5-2" thick....still my knife has chased and nipped him since we put him in. Will this eventually stop?

You could put the knife in a bucket for a few hours and rearrange the tank. That sometimes help with territorial issues.

I just rearranged the entire tank and they are now both trying to use the same hidey hole...

Maybe add another cave? Thats a nice Parrot you picked up there!
