I would but wait a couple hours after each change before doseing fish

Wouldn't bet on it, can you put it in quarantine with epsom salt in the meantime?

I actually do have the quarantine tank but it's been running without fish for about... 3-7 days without fish. Gonna have to do a water change to clean all the crap out of it. Can I use kosher salt? I used it for a infection with my late sun catfish.
