Very nice job. I have a question. Were you not at all concerned of any fiberglass particles floating around in your stand and then possibly settling in your sump?
 
Not really worried about it. I have a lid on one side of my sump and will soon have lids on the other side as well. If any does get in to the sump most likely it will be caught by the filter pad, the scrubbies, or the sponge.

If I had some laying around I would have certainly used it. I'm sure it would have been much nicer looking in there.
 
did a little more work on it today. I added rubber couplings to the input and output of the reeflo blackfin. Yesterday I added a rubber coupling on the output of the dart and added four layers of foam board instead of the plywood and 2x4 I had been using as a pump stand. These helped out quite a bit more. My next job will probably be to take part of the input plumbing to the blackfin and enlarge the hole a little for it in the stand. It's already very quiet but there is still a slight humm. I am getting much closer to beating it though.

I also added lights to the inside of the stand. I put one light pod over top of each door. They make it much nicer to work in there.

No, not yet. I want to but I'm not sure how I am going to lift the tank the way it is setting in there. I need to get off my butt and just do it though. I'm sure I would be able to do it in a couple of hours if I had some help. Speaking of which, doing anything this evening??? :naughty:
