She's doing much better tonight. She got up and walked around the house then went outside and didn't need any help convincing her to eat. I sure hope this progress continues.

I don't know what it is exactly. It's a cancer that attacks the blood cells. The vet said that we're in hospice care so I don't expect this to last too long and don't want her to suffer but we'll play it by day and hope for the best and prepare for the worst.what disease did they diagnose her with? Was it immune mediated thrombocytopenia?
It all comes down to quality of life. This can be very tough to gauge at times and we need to try to think of it for her, not ourselves. She should still be enjoying herself overall. She should be happy to be with family, enjoy eating (assuming she likes to eat) and be overall comfortable. If she is at a point where she does not seem happy or really keeping herself going to keep you happy then it maybe time.
