Happened to quite a few mates of mine. It can make for a very uncomfortable ride.

If I do drop it lower. It will be 1" max.

Yeah maybe 1'' drop max like you said and stiffer springs with the 17's would kick ass.......

If i am not mistaken, they are nissan almera's here in the UK??
Got my vote for a yes on the rims, but don't lower the car!
