I'm getting bored of my RTC since he just sits there all day. The only excitement is when he comes up to eat pellets. What could I exchange him for that's more interesting? In a pond. No koi/goldfish

Dimensions are at about 12 x 8 x 3 feet. I've already had a pacu and they just nip at all the other fish! My pacu killed my arowana too.
I can't really remember the gallonage but you do have the dimensions, I posted them. Filtration is a 250 gallon skippy filter with a 1000 GPH pump. There's a bunch of stuff in the filter, whenever I come across some filter material I just stick it in to fill up gaps. Peacock bass sounds good, what's their growth rate?
