I'm looking for opinions..
if you were to start on your own breed of kamfa by crossing in a new species,
what species would you use?

What species would be good in flowerhorn in your opinion?

Think vieja/theraps... something with rainbow.

Time is not a factor, but the goal is to make something that will win contests.
 
a jag. i find jad hybrid always awsome.
 
I would like to see what a v. argentea would create. I know it's not much for color but the body shape would be nice.
 
If I were too start a kamfa breed I would use Chuco micropthalmus, Red Tiger mota, and synspilum mix and breed it to a Male zzRed Dragon as a start. It would be an original breed but it would require much inbreeding, line breeding, and back crossing to produce something nice. The reason I chose those species is for both coloration(all three species), net pearling(micropthalmus) and the long body(RTM, micropthalmus). But this is what I would do.

What is your goal? then we might be able to suggest species to help you reach it. Unless you tell us what YOU want you will get all sorts of answers.
