Obviously, I'm new to this. But they do not look as solid or as nice as the one I've been looking at. Also, I'm not sure how you can say the one I'm looking at isn't a nice lighting system. There are things I don't understand, but throwing around a lot of names and stuff doesn't help. It would be helpful if you could explain better why the lights you're telling me are better are better, because to me, it's all in wattage, and 5 watts per gallon isn't that much.
I need for someone to explain to me why the lights I'm looking at aren't good for me, because 5 watts per gallon doesn't sound like that much, especially on a tank that's two feet deep. Figure it's at least eight inches from the water's surface, and you've got 32 inches that it has to travel before it reaches the bottom. That's a long way to go.
I know the lighting I'm looking at is relatively new. I was hoping to find someone who has it, and may have even had experience with the white glove warranty. Apparently, they send folks out to your house to fix your light if it breaks. This is important to me because I drive a Mini and can't even fit a six-foot light in my car. Again, I'm open to suggestions, but I'm not familiar with this territory, so I need someone to actually explain to me why this isn't a good light.
